     新學期終於開始了，選課真是磨人心力。選擇太多，難以選擇。對於老師沒有認識，對於課題沒有概念，唯一選擇的依據就是自己的時間，什麽時候有時間就上那個時間有的課。除了選了一些文學課，爲了DSH，也選了一些純語言學、語法的課。爲了保障自己的英語，也選了德英翻譯和英語系的一個大課。爲了積公選學分，自己選了個法語初級和亞洲流行文化及性別研究。再加上這邊免費提供的體育課程，什麽瑜伽，Fatburner，一個星期也就滿了。

      昨天聽了門“文學導入”，那老師說每個星期發文章到你們郵箱，自己打印來看，下節課討論。什麽啊，自己打印，貴死了！！今天上“德英翻譯”，德國學生那英語溜得很，自愧不如。我就更慘，連那句話德語意思還沒搞懂就要翻譯成英語，God！後來上“魏瑪古典”，那老師講的很好啊，因為大家都很認真聽，還不是發出笑聲。我呢，唉，聽得雲裡霧裡。他講那么快，怎么聽嘛！現在得自己下來做工夫，先把歌德席勒生平介紹鉆研一下吧。God，wish me good luck！

The following words may be a little sensitive, so I decide to write in English. People who are not bothered to read English, just close the website, please.

Since Tibetan unrest in March the relation between China and Germany has become very tense. We are pissed off by the slandering reports of the German medium. But what about the people of Germany? What do they think of China? A land without human rights? A land with unfriendly and uncultivated people? I have talked with some Germans about this topic. I collect some of their oppinions and translate them into English. 

C (one of my roommates): Chinese people are really smart. I can see students from China in library or classroom using the latest laptop or cell phone. I have never seen some of the models in Germany. They get exellent marks. In some german companies, managers have to set up a group, which is only used to prevent Chinese technicians stealing the high-tech developed by the company. Because Chinese technicians are terribly smart. When they are invited to the company, they just see the process of the producing and know how it works. Then they go back to China and copy our technics.They are good at copying but not at creating.

Ch (another roommate): Why is there familie plan in China? I have the freedom to have babies. One family one child? Komisch!!!(strange)

H (Student of Geography): In Germany people can say whatever they like and journalists can write whatever they like. People have the total freedom of speech. So the people who read and listen must watch out. There are a lot of fake news or reports. Articles in newspapers are often subjective or even agressive. We shouldnot believe all of them. I understand the standpoint of Chinese government. The government doesnot allow Tibet to be independent, except the historical reasons, it also wants to keep the stability of the large country. If one part succeeds to go out, other parts will also imitate and the whole country will just break up.

M (Student in the language course): I have read a book about China. It says that in China women have to bind their feet. Now you guys still have to do that? And the position of women in China is really very low? They have to obey their husbands? The Chinese government warned the polish government against inviting Dalai to Poland. But why?

I donot want to comment on the opinions of them. I just want to say, not all the people in Germany hold a hostile opinion towards China. They may not understand some of the policies of China. That is because they donot know much about the country far away. What we can do is to create as many chances as possible to let them know China, to explain, to eliminate the misunderstandings.
